Bonnie Rubenstein paints and photographs and is a Jill of many trades. Her work and her travels have taken to many places in this country and abroad. She did a five year sejour in Paris where she studied art and photography and had the opportunity to work with many established artists. It was an exciting time which contributed significantly to her growth as an artist. There in the fabulous museums of Europe she encountered the work of Cy Twombly, Mario Merz and Tapius and her world was transformed. You can see some of these influences in her work.
She has recently relocated to Santa Barbara, CA to curate the Silo118.
